1/30/07- Protogenic is moving!:  Protogenic announces that it's moving to a new, larger, facility that has been custom-designed to work with all of its prototyping processes.  This new space will enable Protogenic to continue to grow and take on new challenges in the future, allowing its Customers to reap the full benefits of its latest technologies and advancements.

8/31/06- SLA Functionality Testing:  Protogenic reveals the results of an internal SLA resin comparison, which shows the relative flexibility and durability of its SLA resins.  The full study can be found here.

3/17/06- Process Updates: Protogenic announces growth in the use of direct sintered nylon, expanded SLA coverage, reduced lead time for RTV molding, and an improved quoting process that enables Customers to get their quotes even faster.

12/5/05- Holiday notice: In addition to confirming holiday hours, Protogenic announces the addition of two new project managers, and the introduction of using quotes@protogenic.com as the best email to use for new RFQ's.

8/20/05 - Sintered Nylon: Protogenic announces the availability of direct sintered nylon parts to the public, using its new P-385 system from EOS.  As direct manufacturing continues to evolve the way parts are produced, Protogenic continues to be the only Western US service provider to offer direct manufactured nylon using EOS technology.

3/8/05 - NanoForm & Silicone: Protogenic announces the addition of Somos 15120 NanoForm ceramic SLA resin, and its new silicone casting process, which enables Customers to receive prototypes cast in actual silicone. 

11/24/04 - Holiday Announcement: In addition to announcing its holiday hours, Protogenic reveals decreased pricing for high resolution SLA's, explains its new quoting format, and announces the addition of its fourth Project Manager.

8/30/04 - New 94V-0 material: Protogenic announces the addition of PG-895FR, a new flame retardant urethane, which has a 94V-0 flame retardant rating at a .100'' cross section.  In addition to being self-extinguishing, the material also has some desirable mechanical properties, while producing parts that are consistent and accurate.

6/01/04 - New SLA machine: Protogenic announces the acquision of an SLA 5000, bringing its total SLA machine count to 7, and increasing its overall SLA capacity. 

2/27/04 - New web site: Protogenic announces the unveiling of its new web site, with improvements made based on a collaboration of the feedback it's received from its users.  The new site provides its Customers with more material data, design tips, and a more interactive approach to the project portfolio section, all in an easy to navigate format.

1/16/04 - New capabilities at Protogenic: Protogenic announces the acquision of a Viper Si2 SLA machine from 3D Systems, which adds to Protogenic's SLA capacity and offers the ability to produce high-resolution SLA models.

10/06/03 - New materials available at Protogenic: Protogenic announces the availability of Somos 10110 water clear SLA resin, and the availability of Renshape SL7580 ABS-like resin in the large 20'' x 20'' build platform, to compliment its family of durable resins.

6/17/03 - New ABS-like resin available at Protogenic: Protogenic announces the availability of Renshape SL5260, an ABS-like SLA resin for SLA250 machines, to provide a durable and heat resistant option for SLA's.

04/03/03 - STL File preference: Protogenic announces its preference for Customers to provide their own .stl files, which will reduce quoting lead times, reduce translation errors, and allow the Customers to better control the models being built at Protogenic.  Also included were steps for creating good quality SLA files, a document that can be found here

2/13/03 - ProtoBucks awards program:  Protogenic announces the release of its ProtoBucks awards program, a program that provides monetary incentives to businesses who continue to use Protogenic for their rapid prototyping needs.
