I would like to commend Protogenic on behalf of BAE Systems.  Protogenic has delivered superior quality parts for two different projects.  There are some here who hesitate to make new molds and go out on a limb with new suppliers.   Twice now, Protogenic has proven that it can be done successfully.  I want to thank you for your quick response times, quick turn on the products, and consistent quality.  I have a laundry list of suppliers, but only a very few I can depend on.

Steve, the reality of doing business with Protogenic is in itself a rewarding experience.  Hopefully you will pass these comments along to your team.  We rely on all of your staff to meet our demanding needs which are often complex processes which we require in a short lead time.  We do recognize that your staff goes "above and beyond"  for us and we sincerely appreciate their able assistance and willingness do whatever is necessary to help us achieve our objectives.

We have been sourcing urethane castings from Protogenic for the past several prototype iterations of our flagship product. The parts were designed for injection molded tooling, so areas such as snap fittings and other complex shutoffs were an area of great concern. The SLA masters were far more accurate than I have come to expect from SLA parts. Features like battery door u-hooks snapped cleanly and positively in place. When we received the actual cast parts I was very impressed with the sharpness of important features especially in the area of those shutoffs. We saw very little flash and no voids or sinks. Furthermore the textured outside surfaces of the housings were virtually indistinguishable from a true molded part.

In addition to the excellent part quality, Protogenic always under promised and over delivered on a very aggressive schedule. I would highly recommend using their services.

Bob,

The second prototype worked perfectly, and our (potential) customers are chomping at the bit. We're pulling the trigger tomorrow on injection molds, thanks again for all the support Protogenic gave us with this development effort.

I just wanted to let you know that those SLA parts you delivered last week turned out great. The high-res 10120 was amazing, I've never had parts fit that well from an SLA before. The clearances were all just as designed, and even the bearing bores were a perfect slip fit. And the resin was durable enough to pass our infamous "Bob" test, where we give it to one of the heavy-handed members on our team, after which most hardware returns non-functional. It has seen hundreds of cycles now with no signs of giving up soon.   Thanks again

I just wanted to pass along my appreciation to you and the others for expediting our last order.  More importantly though, I want to thank you all for the quality of the parts.  I have been working with SLAs for some time and those were some of the best parts I have ever received from a rapid prototype vendor.

Cosmetically they looked great and dimensionally they were dead on.  I was ready with my files, dental tools, and razor blades to bring them into spec and all I ended up doing was measuring them and building them into final assemblies.

Very impressive,  Thanks.

Since early 2004, we've been working with Protogenic for our rapid prototyping and low-volume production needs.  From quickproof SLA's for use in preliminary designs to cast urethane and sintered nylon parts for working prototypes and limited production parts, Protogenic's product has always been top-notch.  The expert advice we receive from Protogenic is always spot-on, so we always get parts that are at or above the required level of quality.  Additionally, our orders consistently arrive on or before the 'optimistic' delivery date, which works very well with our aggressive development schedules.

Good suppliers play a major role in the success of a small company, and Protogenic is definitely on our short list of suppliers that has made success possible for Jadoo.  I recommend them to everyone I can.

I received your message regarding correcting the slats. Thank you. We have been dealing with many vendors recently ordering parts for our next build. In my view, a vendor should be an expert in their field. A few of these vendors have been very difficult to work with. Getting information from them is like pulling teeth. Rather than having them guide us in their area of expertise, we have to pester them on a regular basis to extract information. It is very refreshing to deal with a vendor that knows their business and takes the lead to be the expert. I know that there is little difference between an SLA from one vendor or the other. The real 'art' of the process comes when castings are made. To me it seems that Protogenic sets itself apart by providing expertise in casting and with superior customer service. Thanks again for your concern with our satisfaction.

I was out of the office yesterday when the SLA model arrived in the morning. I finally had the model in my hands this morning. I have years of experience in working with stereolithography models and so while I may have very high expectations, I also have an understanding of many of the problems which may occur during part building, curing, finishing, and shipping not to mention dealing with poor data to begin with. I was very pleased with the model which Protogenic had built as well as the service in the way of email responses and follow-up phone calls. I did not measure the model because to be honest, high accuracy is not as critical as over all part appearance for this particular model. The model was very well received by everyone in our office.

Over the past few months Protogenic has delivered a lot of prototypes, and I must say we've been completely happy with everything we've received. The quality of the SLA's and cast parts have been great – a lot of people around here didn't realize that these were only prototypes. Most of all, I want to thank you for always keeping me informed and following up even after the parts have been delivered. To me, that level of attentiveness and dependability are what sets Protogenic apart from other shops, and that's what will keep me coming back in the future. Great job.

Protogenic has always been our first choice for difficult rapid prototyping jobs. They recently made a dozen sets of cast parts, some were over molded, for a new shower head. This project, like all they have done for us in the past, was completed on time with the high quality standards we have come to expect. The people at Protogenic are very professional and pleasant to work with and see to it that schedules stay on track.

I have been building goggles for a long time and been around them for quite a while and, to be honest with you, that is probably one of the cleanest pieces I have ever seen come out of a mold, period. So you guys did a great job.

We have relied on Protogenic for a number of rapid prototype components over the past couple of years. The most complex were a 2 shot (soft rubber on hard plastic) Spincast reel front cover and a die cast frame for a round baitcast reel.

We have found their components to be dimensionally accurate, their surface finishes precise and their timeliness of delivery as promised. Their customer service representatives have always been available to our calls and quick and personable in responding to our needs.

It is a comfort to know Protogenic is there for us when we have to have high quality SLA or Urethane Cast components to verify fit and function for a new design.

My experience working with Protogenic was fantastic!! From the beginning, exchanging data and getting quotes, to receiving honest delivery dates and quality parts.

Working with complex geometry on 'appearance' parts, it was vital to have accurate parts to prove form and fit before going to expensive tooling. We could not have done this without the prototyping provided by Protogenic.

The parts created at Protogenic were of the highest quality and could be used in a trade show to introduce our new 'look' for our new machine (not to mention internal marketing and engineering approvals for design intent).

Working with Protogenic on complex parts was a breeze. I sent geometry data files over the net and quickly received quotes. Not just quotes on the prototype technology that I was interested in, but all the possible prototype technologies that I could utilize to produce workable parts.

My contact at Protogenic was extremely helpful in all phases of the prototype process. When I was not sure of data requirements, Protogenic was fast to offer suggestions that left me more informed about the technology.

I was amazed at how quick the turnaround time was from sending data to receiving parts.

The integrity and honesty displayed by the people at Protogenic was refreshing, and I will continue to use them in the future.

As a consultant, I depend on 'word-of-mouth' and referrals for all my business. If I fall short of a customer's expectations, I not only lose any future business from that customer I also forfeit the business their referrals may have generated. As a result, I am very particular about the vendors I choose to do business with because the work they do reflects directly on me.

My first experience with Protogenic involved the fabrication of concept models for a trade show. At the time, I was developing a new medical device for a client and was asked by the program manager if I could supply a 'show-and-tell' model for a major medical conference that was three weeks away. Up to that point, we had only crude prototypes that we were using to debug the concept. In an effort to please my customer, I called an industry colleague and requested a referral. I told him, 'I needed someone who could work with me to finalize a presentable concept, who could do it fast and who could do the job right the first time.' There would be no 'second chance'. This individual recommended Protogenic.

The rest as they say 'is history'. With Protogenic assistance, we had concept models in three weeks, the customer presented the concept at the medical conference and the reception from the medical industry was enthusiastic. I have used Protogenic multiple times since that initial project and the results are always the same - fast turn around, friendly service and excellent attention to detail.

I would like to thank you and your staff for the fine rapid prototype work that you have performed for Binks. Your accurately produced SLA patterns enabled us to have actual working models in a matter of just a few days.

Your ability to produce accurate, superior finish SLA parts has helped speed up delivery times for our metal production parts. Having an SLA pattern to use as the master instead of waiting for a machined master for the rubber plaster mold process tremendously decreases the lead time for our parts.

Again, thank you for your role in helping us to produce our new products with speed and accuracy.

I have finally be able to look at all the parts and perform some rudimentary fit-up assembly. They are perfect. The color match is impressive. I've already gotten some ooh's and ahh's from people. These samples will be going to a national sales meeting, so I know if we can impress those guys, we will have done our job with these parts.

I knew I could count on you folks.

My company designs a variety of high tech, complex products. I have come to count on Protogenic to make beautiful and accurate SLA models and cast urethane parts that I can feel good about showing to my clients. The parts are virtually as good or better than the final injection molded product.

I received the parts on time and they look pretty good. The parts were very useful and showed us exactly what we needed. When it comes to quick SLA's, Protogenic is the only company we use.
